What on earth is this doing in Wichita Kansas?

It zigged all the way there

Most likely someone de-badged a caddy that zigs to what it really was.

Rebadge?

Its a Catera.

Just a badge job. The Omega had different tail lights.

Just a rebadge I think, sold here as a Catera, or was in the Cinnamon Toast Crunch?

A Chevy Uplander

The bumper and rear lights combo belies the badges.

It’s the Caddy that Zigs!
Caddy should’ve done more with animated birbs.

That middle seat headrest looks really annoying for the driver

Someone didn’t do their scholarly research that should be done when there’s a license plate on an interesting vehicle.

I’m shocked someone cares enough about a catera to rebadge it.

A rebadge job that I actually cannot believe someone bothered to do.

That explains why looking up “Opel omega” was giving me something different. Who the hell would do this badge job though? lol

This is my reaction as well.

Oh I would because I’m edgy.
But seriously, US market parts like side markers and license plate moulds are/used to be quite popular with the aftermarket/stance/modding community in Germany and Europe. An Opel grille looks great on the Buick Regal.

Mercedes used to have a button to flip the rear headrests down. The Omega could’ve used that.

It’s a Cadillac Catera that somebody re-badged to the Opel equivalent badges from Europe.

I really want to do a weird rebadge someday. Like converting an old S10 into an Oldsmobile truck using Bravada parts, or an Isuzu pickup into a Honda.

I can respect it, because it’s something different.

Well, the badges just stick on with 3M adhesive, the whole thing probably took less than 15 minutes of work. Now, if they had actually bothered to swap out the tail lights, wheels, and front facia, that would be ridiculous.
